Publication Ethics and Policies

The Journal of Medical Studies is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, scientific honesty, and transparency. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to follow ethical principles throughout the submission, review, and publication process.

Ethical Approval

Research involving human participants must obtain approval from an Institutional Ethics Committee or relevant review board before the study is conducted.

Informed Consent

Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from participants wherever applicable, especially in clinical studies, case reports, and studies involving identifiable patient information.

Patient Confidentiality

Patient identity and privacy must be protected. Names, hospital numbers, photographs, or personal details should not be published unless written permission has been obtained.

Animal Research Ethics

Studies involving animals must follow institutional, national, and international guidelines for animal care, welfare, and ethical research practices.

Plagiarism Policy

Submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism, copied content, or duplicate publication may be rejected.

Authorship Criteria

Conflict of Interest
